Stephen Hawking's voice was beamed into space toward the nearest black hole, 1A 0620-00, 3,500 light years away  from earth during his memorial where his ashes were scattered between the graves of Charles Darwin and Sir Isaac Newton at Westminster Abbey. Over 1,000 people attended a memorial in London to celebrate the life and mourn the loss of physicist Stephen Hawking. Actor Benedict Cumberbatch and astronaut Tim Peake read during the memorial.
